In the land of 10,000 lakes, you're sure to find a few good beaches! The Brainerd Lakes Area is home to several public beaches and most of them are free! Hitch up the boat and bring the family out for a day on the lake at any of the public boat launches that are featured at the Brainerd beaches.

Pack a picnic and take advantage of picnic tables, garbage receptacles, water fountains, and all of the other things that make the Brainerd beaches great. If you just feel like spending a day laying on the sand, that's great too! The Brainerd beaches offer large sand areas for relaxation and play and many of the beaches have lifeguards on duty to help you keep an extra eye out for your littlest family members.
