wedding reception. The selection of a reception site will
depend on availability and price. Remember to ask about the capacity of the reception hall.
Some reception venues offer catering service on-site. It varies by venue, but check on policy for bringing in your own caterer. You may be required to use on-site service or there may be an additional fee to use an alternate catering service.

Be sure to consider the distance between the Ceremony Location and the Reception Venue. Also, if you're looking for ways to cut wedding expenses, consider holding your wedding on a day other than Saturday; many reception halls will offer discounted rates for weekday, Friday and Sunday events.
If you are planning to host a wedding dance after the reception, remember to ask about dance floor options and setup space for your DJ or Band. Check electrical outlet locations to be sure the space will accommodate.
