Brainerd Lakes Area: Minnesota Winter Vacations
December, January, February
It's winter in Minnesota, enjoy it . . . in the Brainerd Lakes Area!!
Check the most recent Snow Report, which includes snow conditions from our official "Snow Watcher"; reserve that cozy cabin; then pack up the family and head north to the Brainerd Lakes Area for some real winter fun.
We have hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails as well as updates on snowmobile trail conditions. The Brainerd MN area also boasts a number of cross country ski trails, lakes everywhere to fish (including the World's largest charitable Ice Fishing Contest), and winter events that everyone young and old will enjoy. Check out our newly updated snowmobile trail maps.
In January, snowmobile up the Paul Bunyan Trail to Pequot Lakes for the Antique Snowmobile Rendezvous (maybe yours is old enough to enter), or enter a Radar Run. Participate in the Gull Lake Frozen Fore at the beginning of March to experience fun, family-friendly winter fest games as you snowmobile or shuttle between nine locations around Gull Lake. Come up and see if you have what it takes to be a Real Minnesotan!
For down hill ski and snowboard enthusiasts, Ski Gull is perfect for your family outing. They have runs for every level. Tubing is also available.
Plan ahead or make last minute plans, but be sure to spend your winter getaway with us!!
