Brainerd Lakes Area State Parks

The Brainerd Lakes Area is abundant in lakes and woods with several State Parks nearby. Mille Lacs Kathio State Park, Crow Wing State Park, and Cuyuna County State Recreation Area are all within a 15 minute drive from Brainerd. Many of the state parks offer camping, kayak and water sport rentals, and event rental spaces for weddings or reunions. You can also find boat and swimming water access as well as trails for walking, horseback riding, and winter snowmobiling.
