Cuyuna Country Rec Area Fall Day Trips

The Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area located near Crosby/Ironton in Northern MN is a Fall must visit location! With over 5,000 mostly underdeveloped acres, and 25 miles of natural shoreline, Cuyuna is a unique gem featuring activities for the whole family. Bring your bikes and ride on of the many paved trail, or for a more adventurous activity, try one of the single track mountain bike trails.

Don't forget your camera! There are plenty of chances to view natural wildlife in the Cuyuna Rec Area including the American Bald Eagle, Raccoons, Beavers, Deer, and many other small and large animals. For the fishing enthusiast, there are several boat launches and accesses for different types of fishing.
