Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area

Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area is located 15 miles northeast of Brainerd on Hwy 210. The campground is located on the northwest shore of the Portsmouth Mine Pit Lake (352 feet deep). Mine pit lakes are excellent for fishing trout, northern, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and panfish. The lake is also great for scuba diving and canoeing.
