March 26, 2024
With over 48 hours of constant snowfall, Brainerd Area has called for another Snow Day on Tuesday, March 26. This morning saw 4-5 inches of additional snow accumulation with the roads covered and driving conditions hazardous.
March 25, 2024
Snowfall continues in the Brainerd Lakes Area with 10-12 inches of snow already down. The Brainerd and Pillager schools called for a snow day and many local businesses are closed or experiencing a late start today.

They predicted a blizzard and it showed up! Brainerd has 5-6 inches of snow on the ground currently with more falling. Snow is expected to continue for the next 48 hours. Stay Safe!

Spring is here and with it, snow!! After a long dry spell, Brainerd got about 2-3 inches of fluffy light snow.

It’s hard to believe that all that previous snow melted and left the Brainerd Lakes Area with a grass lawn Christmas. After several days of steady rain, one inch of snow was on the ground in the morning. Quickly melting throughout the day.

It’s beginning to look a lot like winter… an evening snowstorm that lasted throughout the night saw Brainerd with around 2 inches of snow left on the ground. Much of it is melting, but we’ll some stick around and possibly more snowfall this week.

The Brainerd Lakes Area Winter is trying to outdo itself this year!!! Almost all the snow had melted, and another round fell down leaving 7 inches of fresh snow. Cold temps are seeing it remain, for now.

April Showers Bring…April Blizzards!!! The Brainerd Lakes Area saw 6 inches of snow on the ground at sunrise and it continues to fall as we’re heading into the afternoon. Roads are rough so be careful if you need to venture out today.

2-3 more inches of snow last night brought the snowfall total for the week up to 20 inches! The Lakes Area experienced scattered power outages and tree damage due to the extreme snow conditions. The plows are still getting through the city, watch for the large piles in the center lanes!
